Alltech World Equestrian Games

All Lexington residents remember the build up to the 2010 World Equestrian Games.  Lexington would be the first city outside of Europe to host the games, as well as the first site to host all events in one location - at the Kentucky Horse Park.  Alltech was the title sponsor for the games.  Renovations were made, event sites were built, and great games were hosted.  A delegation from Deauville visited Lexington during the games and set up tents to market the 2014 games in Normandy.

Prior to the events in 2010, Normandy was selected to host the 2014 World Equestrian Games.  Alltech would again be the title sponsor for the games.  Deauville was the host site for the cross country event as well as polo games.  A delegation from Lexington visited Deauville during the 2014 WEG games and attended a polo event.
