Bellamy's internship in Deauville

"I had an amazing time! My housemates were great and we became as close as we could be in the limited time we had. My boss (at Les Franciscaines in Deauville), Madame Berangere Descamps, and the others in our office were wonderful and very supportive and engaging. My responsibilities included creating materials for and assisting with facilitating summer workshops for young children, following tours of the building and exhibits, directing visitors, acting as a translator, and otherwise assisting my colleagues.

I also had the chance to explore our area of Normandy and the Calvados department with my housemates. We visited Caen, Honfleur, Le Havre, Lisieux, and Pont Leveque and got to see many interesting sites, including William the Conqueror’s castle and the tomb in Caen. In Deauville, I enjoyed the beach, the architecture, and the quiet community.

Altogether, it was an incredible experience."
